clearing will be done twice in a year.

this acre of land, dimension of 9×9ft was applied. So we have over 900 stand of

SALES:
The
current market price for a bunch of plantain sells for one thousand naira
(#1000)
and we are expecting nine hundred (900) bunches, equivalent to nine
hundred
thousand naira (#900000). But due to unforeseen circumstances we may
be
seeing eight hundred (800) bunches which will give us eight hundred thousand
naira
(#800000).

bunches × 1000 (market price) = #800,000.
Looking
at the table above, the total of cost incur is #180,000.

- #180,000 = #620,000

Good day sir , I really appreciate your efforts and ur positive impact in everyone. What about marketing because that was how I fail to sell my cassava after havest

ReplyDeleteA more realistic figure on 800 bunches at wholesale should be less than 620k. It will be unrealistic and lead to disappointment if one does not factor all the incidental expenses into arriving at the final profit. This projection did not consider pilfering, Police Settlement on the road, the commission paid for the market space as the case may be.
Don't get me wrong, this is not to say that investing in plantain is not profitable, but just consider all your expenses, including that recharge card you bought to call on your labor and the transporter.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, in your own analysis you left no stone untouched. I appreciate your contribution....but my contribution to your analysis is that some of those point you point out are not to be taken care by you. If you engage driver co convey your goods to market. He will charge you for the transport cost and it is responsibility to take care of road settlement from police road safety and co.
ReplyDeleteAlso if you are taken your goods to any Lagos market u don't to pay anything as settlement for shop...it is agent that will take care of that for you. They will also charge your driver depend on vehicle start from 500 up ward as load money. While you only pay for offloading
